All Sidiki's Series djembes are individually selected from the finest AWA shells and constructed based on Sidiki's individual component and aesthetic specifications.

Sidiki Dembele is a great djembe player and guardian of the djembe tradition, a musician whose playing embodies the power, precision, and expressiveness of West African percussion at its finest. His series at Djembe AWA represents his personal selection of djembe shells, chosen for their tonal character, projection, and playability.

The Sidiki Dembele Series features djembes in bala, Kolo Kolo, and Lenke woods, selected for their bright, projecting tone profile that reflects Sidiki Dembele's playing style, which is articulate, precise, and powerful.
• Primary wood: Kolo Kolo (light, resonant, clear tone), Bala (brilliant and percussive) and Lenke (dense, warm, powerful)
• Skin: Selected goat skin, medium thickness
